

Camilla Skovgaard was born in Denmark, but graduated in London, with a BA honours degree in footwear design from Cordwainers shoe college in 2003, followed by an MA in footwear design from the Royal College of Art in 2006.
Camilla first started to design shoes when she was twenty, when she was working in Dubai designing footwear for the Sheikh's wives and daughters. After seven years in Dubai, Camilla decided to become formally qualified as a shoe designer, and it was whilst she was completing her MA that her line of shoes was created. Her first collection was purchased by Saks Fifth Avenue whilst she was still a student.
Camilla has also collaborated with other shoe designers, the most notable being Matthew Williamson, with whom she worked for seven seasons, from 2005 - 2009.
2007 - Camilla Skovgaard won the Queen Elizabeth Scholar Award for Excellence in British Craftmanship
2008 - Voted shoe designer of the year on Australian shoe blog Imelda
2010 - Accessories Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards
2010 - Accessories Designer of the Year at the Elle Style Awards
