Chie Mihara is a Brazilian footwear designer who was born in 1968. She lived in Japan between the ages of 18 and 22 years and studied fashion in Fukuoka, Japan.

For two years, Chie Mahara worked at Junko Koshino, a Japanese fashion company. When she was 22 she relocated to New York for five years and studied shoe and handbag design there. Thanks to her work at an orthopaedic shoe store, she learnt the importance of a good fitting pair of shoes or boots.

For two years, Chie Mahara worked as a designer for Sam & Libby. When she was 27 years old, she relocated again to Spain and started to work for Charles Jourdan. She married at 29 and had three children, temporarily giving up work to look after them.

In December 2001, Chie Mihara launched her own footwear collection.
