Chloe is a French designer label, founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, which specialises in ready to wear clothing and designer shoes and bags. During its many years in the forefront of French fashion design, it has been home to a number of top designers including Karl Lagerfield, Stella McCartney, Martine Sitbon and Phoebe Philo. Chloe is especially well known for its signature accessories, including the Paddington bag / satchel which achieved a superstar style all of its own. The house received great recognition during the seventies when celebrities who wore Chloe designs included Jackie Onassis and Brigitte Bardot. These days, the designs are worn by young A list celebrities including Kate Moss, Kate Bosworth and Sienna Miller.

Where to buy?

Chloe has boutiques across the world, in Europe, America, The Middle East, Asia Pacific and Japan. In the UK, the Chloe boutique is on Sloane Street in London. Chloe designs are also stocked by Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges at their various branches.

Online, the best selection of Chloe shoes are available at Matches and at My Theresa. There are also some styles available from Browns Fashion. Koodos have a quick stock turn around and currently only have Chloe bags at the time of writing (June 2009). However, it is worth having a look there anyway, just in case they have had a delivery of Chloe shoes.
