Kingdom of Sheepskin, also known as KOS, is a designer and manufacturer of premium quality sheepskin boots. The company was founded over 30 years ago by David Tao, who sources all sheepskin from Australia, ensuring that only the finest "Grade A" double faced skins are used.

In 2006, the designer Angela Kim (who had a first class honours degree from the London School of Fashion) joined the company as the chief designer, which is where the story of the KOS boot really begins. Angela took the classic KOS boot and produced the famous "KOS Design Twist".

The headquarters of KOS are in Shanghai, and it has offices in Hong Kong, Seoul and London.

The Collection

KOS have taken an ordinary sheepskin boot and turned it into something completely extraordinary. Raccoon fur trim, sourced from Asia, is a frequent embellishment, either wrapped around the shaft as in the KOS Sienna boots (left), or creating a fluffy fur cuff at the top of the shaft of the boot, as in the KOS Sasa boots (top right). The KOS Reva 2 boots (right), on the other hand, are trimmed in fox fur and have a look that is reminiscent of the Nordic Angel from Australia Luxe Collective.

The pirate look is in vogue with the KOSFreedom boots, which have multiple buckled straps around the ankle and shaft of the boot. On the other hand, if you like shiny silver and gold stud embellishment, look to the KOS Buster Boots which are a cacophony of silver and gold studs of different sizes on a black sheepskin background.
