Robert Clergerie is a French shoe brand which was launched in 1981, after the founder, Robert Clergerie, bought the company Fenestrier in 1978.
Robert Clergerie's shoes exhibit are stylish and classical, almost like art works. For Clergerie, a shoe is more than a fashion item, it is a functional piece designed for walking. Close attention is paid to every step of the design process, and their combination of grace and practicality has lead Clergerie to be named the "functionalist" of shoe fashion. He makes stunning designs for both men and women.
The Robert Clergerie Metallic Lace Up Brogues are pictured top right. These metallic leather lace up brogues in silver are an androgenous design with a feminine touch, and the tan laces contrast against the silver leather.
The Robert Clergerie Doucia Wedges, pictured above left, are made from smooth nubuck leather in a delightful aqua / pale turquoise shade, described by Robert Clergerie as "Pacific". They are strappy shoes with a chunky wedge heel and platform sole and open toe detail. The wrap around ankle strap has a buckle fastening.
The Robert Clergerie Dylan Wedges, pictured right, are slingback wedge shoes made from smooth leather. They have a peep toe, pink buckle fastening to the ankle strap and are cut low on the vamp. They have a wide platform sole and small cut out detail to separate the wedge and the platform.
