Superga is an Italian shoe company that specialises in high end trainers, plimsolls, pumps, hi-tops and other footwear with rubber soles for men, women, children and infants. It was founded In 1911 in Torino, Italy, by Walter Martiny, who branded his new style footwear "Superga" with the Superga logo.
Production of Superga trainers stopped during World War 2. After the war, Superga restarted their production of high-quality footwear. Later on, during the 1970s, Superga expanded the range to include sport shoes with technical attributes.
Now, Superga collections include boots, including the Superga City leather and Superga Country rubber rain and outerwear boots. However, they still maintain the original Superga Vulcanized and Sport lines which have become increasingly popular in recent years.
The 2750 Heritage style was created originally in 1925, and it has been an iconic design from the start.
